Crows May Be a Girl’s Best Friends
If humans let you down with ingratitude, you can always count on birds to show an impeccable capacity for kindness and gratitude. Ask Gabi Mann from Seattle, who earned a global reputation for forging a friendship with the crows in her Portage Bay neighborhood.
The young girl had been feeding the birds since 2011, and they returned the kindness by bringing her a variety of gifts. A count of Mann’s little treasures would reveal a blue Lego piece, a yellow bead, a pearl-colored heart, a black button, and a miniature silver ball, amongst other things.
