Famous Unscripted Lines That Will Make You Look At These Classic Movie Scenes In An Entirely Different Way

Sally’s Pictionary Drawing – Meg Ryan As Sally Albright in When Harry Met Sally…

If you think the Pictionary game in “When Harry Met Sally…” feels almost too real, that’s because it wasn’t scripted at all. Improv-loving director Rob Reiner simply told Meg Ryan (‘Sally Albright’) to draw whatever she wanted when she thought of “baby talk.” And while that’s not an easy one to pull off, Ryan did a remarkably bad job of it—which is somewhat the same as saying she did a very good job at being a comedy actress.

If you’ve ever played Pictionary or charades with your friends, you may find this scene very relatable. We also love Burno Kirby’s (‘Jess’) guess when he utters “baby fishmouth” for some reason…
