Starring Harrison Ford (the fugitive ‘Dr. Richard Kimble’) and Tommy Lee Jones (policeman ‘Samuel Gerard’), “The Fugitive” is a great movie depicting what happens when a clever, innocent man is forced to run away from the authorities. When the flick’s two elusive rivals finally stumble upon one another, Ford’s character tells Jones’s character, “I didn’t kill my wife!”
Jones was supposed to answer, “That’s not my problem,” but he decided to go with the flow and deliver the much memorable line “I don’t care.” The improvised dialogue provided great emotional depth to one of the movie’s most impactful scenes.
