Journalism Fails: Some Instances Where TV Anchors Made the Headlines for More Than Their Work

A Reporter Learns a Painful Lesson

While we can’t tell you Melissa Sander’s hobbies, we’re sure grape stomping isn’t one of them. This accident needs a little backstory, and we’re happy to fill you in. Sanders was a reporter for Atlanta-based WAGA-TV and contested a live grape stomping match from a winery.

While the ladies were at it, Sanders called out for herself and the other contestant to stop, but no one expected her to continue stomping while the other lady stopped. Sanders then tried to get out of the bucket, only to land face first from the platform. It’s safe to say karma took care of a cheat.
