Legends of the ’70s and ’80s: Iconic Celebrities Who Are Still Alive And Kicking!

Heather Locklear – The Return of Swamp Thing

Determined to become a prominent figure in entertainment, Heather Locklear took on smaller roles during the early ’80s, appearing in series like “Eight Is Enough,” “240-Robert,” and “CHiPS.” It wasn’t until 1984 that she got her first break in “Firestarter,” followed by “The Return of Swamp Thing” five years later in 1989.

Equally famous for her high-profile marriages as she is for her starring roles, Locklear has become somewhat of a recluse since 2010, only appearing in a handful of productions like “Franklin & Bash,” “The Game of Love,” and “Too Close to Home.” In 2021 she starred as Kristine Carlson in “Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff: The Kristine Carlson Story.”
