Joey Lawrence – Gimme a Break!
In August 2021, Joey Lawrence announced his engagement with his then-girlfriend Samantha Cope. The couple exchanged rings one year after Lawrence’s separation from his ex-wife Chandie Yawn-Nelson. The two first met on the set of “A Deadly Deed” in 2020, and according to the “Blossom” alum, amazing things started to happen as soon as the two got together.
As a child actor, Lawrence got his big break in 1981 as Joey Donovan in “Gimme a Break!.” When he was cast on the comedy sitcom, the Abington Township, Pennsylvania native was only seven years old but already had one year of professional acting under his belt.
