The Glorious Mansions of 50 Soccer Stars: How They Used Their Millions
John Terry – £6.25 Million, Surrey
Former footballer John Terry was one of Chelsea’s best-ever captains. Clearly, he was well rewarded for it too. His Surrey mansion went up for sale early in 2019 for a £6.25-million asking price. The surreal adobe is a sporty child’s paradise. It has an AstroTurf pitch with a putting green, landscaped gardens, a cinema, a sauna, and training facilities.
Maybe in his life after football, he could rediscover some of that childlike fun. However, he still has work to do. He left his role as an assistant coach for Aston Villa in 2021 without clearly indicating the next move.
