The Glorious Mansions of 50 Soccer Stars: How They Used Their Millions
Sol Campbell – £5.2 Million, Northumberland
Sol, a former Arsenal and Tottenham defender, is a pro both on and off the pitch. He co-owns the 9 bedroom home with Fiona Barratt, his wife. The couple wants to sell this gorgeous Georgian house to focus on businesses in London and put it on the market for a reported £5.95 million (a year later, it was cut to £5.25 million).
In addition to having played football for top-tier sides like Arsenal and England, he has also worked as a football team manager. Now, he runs a charity organization “Kids Go Live”, and is the manager of National League club Southend United.
