Life as a house pet simply didn’t suit Togo. He just wasn’t built to cuddle around in blankets with other humans for the rest of his life; he had too much in him for that. So, after barely spending a few weeks with his new owner, the pup found a quite dramatic way to escape.
Togo flung himself through a closed glass window and ran off into the freedom of the snow. He sprinted several miles to return to Seppala, his original owner, who could only be touched by the dog’s determination and devotion. He was impressed enough to decide to keep Togo with him for good.
