The “Togo” movie did a fantastic job at recreating the true story of the fabled dog and the events of the 1925 serum run. It was obvious they did their research and went after the facts. Amazingly, the protagonist of the movie, a dog actor named Diesel, is a direct descendant of Togo from 14 previous generations.
That’s to tell you how close they got to the source material. But there are indeed a few details in the movie that might make the serum run fanatics and adept historians raise an eyebrow.
