One of the few, Dick Van Dyke has graced the American screen for several years with his unique film, TV, and theatre performances. He became a household name after he starred in ‘The Dick Van Dyke Show,’ first aired in 1961. Still, the multi-talented singer, dancer, and comedian has been loved by all ages in films like the Disney musical ‘Mary Poppins’ and ‘Mary Poppins Returns.’
A lesser-known fact about the ‘Diagnosis: M**der’ star is that he also served in the military from 1943-1946. In addition, he was honored with the Kennedy Center Honors for his contribution to performing arts.
