Jerry Mathers, 72, Born in 1948 – Leave It to Beaver
At a young age, Jerry Mathers was bit by the acting bug. He began appearing in commercials as early as 2, but he is best known for playing Theodore Cleaver in the sitcom Leave It to Beaver from 1957 to 1963. He reprised his role in 1983 for The New Leave It to Beaver.
After the show, he formed a musical group, Beaver and the Trappers. Then Mathers continued his acting career but chose to say goodbye after playing Ted in the 2015 movie Lucky Day. He has since kept his fans updated on Twitter.
