Mel Brooks, 94, Born in 1926 – Leap!
Most actors in their 90s have long turned their backs in the industry and are now enjoying their golden years in peace. Mel Brooks, who is considered a jack-of-all-trades man for delving into acting, stand-up comedy, writing, directing, producing, and even composing, doesn’t belong to that list.
Brooks will next be heard as Shogun in the upcoming animated film Blazing Samurai, based on no less than his classic Blazing Saddles. When not busy with work, the star, currently residing in Santa Monica, drives by his comedian friend Carl Reiner’s Beverly Hills abode.
