Larry Storch, 98, Born in 1923 – Tennessee Tuxedo and His Tales
Larry Storch’s voice is perhaps more recognizable than his face, having done voice acting since his prime years. Growing up in a tough neighborhood, the New Yorker amused other people by learning different accents, which he eventually used to make a living. He began to make a name for himself when he substituted for Frank Morgan in The Kraft Music Hall.
At the time, he impressed listeners with his A+ impersonations. Storch appeared in TV shows and films and found a steady gig in voicing cartoon characters. Unfortunately, by the turn of the millennium, we rarely saw him, the last being in 2010 in Medium Rare.
