Elisabeth Shue, 57, Born in 1963 – Leaving Las Vegas
Although she appeared in Burger King commercials, being cast as Ali in The Karate Kid (1984) started her acting career. In 1995, her portrayal of Sera in the picture Leaving Las Vegas became a risk worth taking after receiving an Oscar nod for best actress.
In the subsequent years, Shue continued to wow her fans through films like Hide and Seek, Greyhound, and House at the End of the Street. The 57-year-old is also currently working on a TV show titled On the Verge after finishing production on the movie Constance.
