These Superstars Gave Up Their Fame To Pursue “Normal” Jobs. Where Are They Now?
Erik Estrada
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) scooter officers and their right-hand man, John (actor Larry Wilcox), rode into our living rooms each week to fix challenging crimes in just one hour. The majority of folks are likely to remember Erik Estrada from his position as police officer Frank “Ponch” Poncherello on the popular ’70s sitcom “ChiPS.”
However, nobody could have predicted that he would eventually work for the police in reality. Estrada joined St. Anthony, Idaho, backup force as a reserve officer with the Muncie Police Department. The former actor also belongs to the Blue Knights bike club, and locals frequently see him riding his bike on the streets.
