The Acorn Confrontation

My neighbor was on her driveway, glaring at me over the fallen acorns from my oak tree. She insisted I stop this “attack” on her property. Each acorn, in her view, was a deliberate offense—as if I could command the tree to halt its autumn ritual. I stood there, caught between amusement and disbelief.
There was no reasoning with her; she treated the natural dropping of seeds like a personal affront. It was a surreal standoff, with nature unwittingly casting me as the culprit in her suburban saga.
