A Disturbing Dream Hints at the “Origin” Revelation
In season 2, episode five’s opening, The Stranger/Jonas experiences a recurring dream akin to one Jonas and Martha previously shared, hinting at their forthcoming intimate encounter in the world. The dream takes a bizarre turn. They pause, fixated on Martha’s lower torso; a peculiar black blob resembling a miniature God particle portal emerges from her womb.
The significance of this eerie imagery unfolds later in season 3 with the revelation of the origin, also known as the Unknown. This enigmatic child, born to Martha and Jonas, plays a pivotal role in shaping the corrupted family tree in both worlds, ultimately fathering Tronte Nielsen and setting off a chain of fateful events.
