Frank Ocean –1987, Singer, Cisgender

There have always been speculations about the personal orientation of Frank Ocean. But after holding a listening for his 2012 album, “Channel Orange,” fans went crazy trying to analyze a few songs on the album that seemed to be inspired by unrequited love. Frank replied with an explicit post on his Tumblr where he recounted the tale of his first love and how his affection for a boy he met at age 19 changed his life.
His 2016 album, “Blonde,” also received critical acclaim, and according to an article in “Rolling Stone,” the album redefined queerness. Although the singer has made no overt declarations of his personal orientation, his music is an authentic declaration of his comradeship with the LGBTQ+ community.
