John Kani – Net Worth: $4 Million
John Kani is a legendary theatre and film actor from South Africa. He is so legendary, in fact, that the main theatre in Johannesburg was named after him. Some of his most telling roles came recently. He had a role as T’Chaka in Black Panther and the final Avengers films.
He also voiced the monkey Rafiki in the 2019 remake of The Lion King and had a role in the Netflix film Murder Mystery. His theatre credibility is impressive, and he last worked on a play called Kunene and the King. This was alongside British-South African actor Sir Antony Sher at the now-closed-down Fugard Theatre in Cape Town.
