Safiya Jaffer Nygaard: From BuzzFeed Stardom to Solo YouTube Sensation
Safiya Nygaard is a force to be reckoned with. She skyrocketed to fame as the creator of BuzzFeed’s hit show, “LadyLike.” Then, her viral video explaining her departure from BuzzFeed left everyone talking. Nowadays, she’s the star of her own solo YouTube channel, where she dishes out content like her popular “Bad Makeup Science” series.
Safiya holds a Bachelor of Arts in Drama and English from Stanford University and is happily married to YouTube collaborator Tyler Williams. Their 2019 wedding was a star-studded affair, with big names like Jenna Marbles and Cristine Rotenberg of Simply Nailogical in attendance.
