Thandie Newton’s name may be familiar from blockbuster hits like “Shade” and “Mission: Impossible 2,” but did you know that it has a special meaning? Thandiwe, her middle name, means “beloved” in the Zimbabwean dialect. In fact, she even starred in the 1998 film “Beloved,” which coincidentally shares her name!
Aside from her successful acting career, Newton has also had a fulfilling personal life. She’s married to film producer and director Ol Parker. Unfortunately, the couple decided to part ways due to personal reasons, but they co-parent their three children. However, the “Shade” actress is in a romantic relationship with talented American musician Elijah Dias, aka Lonr.
