Wolfgang Puck & Gelila Assefa
Austrian-born American culinary artist and entrepreneur Wolfgang Puck has walked down the aisle three times. However, it’s his love story with Ethiopian designer Gelila Assefa that truly warms the heart. Their romance has flourished over two decades, ever since they first crossed paths in LA when Puck was launching his restaurant, Spago, in the early ’00s.
The lovebirds finally exchanged vows in 2007 on the stunning island of Capri, after 14 years of being inseparable. Today, Gelila and Puck have two lovely children together. Surprisingly, Assefa is also a celebrated creative director and a prominent advocate for children’s education and HIV awareness worldwide.
