Russell Brand and Katy Perry’s love affair began very quickly and ended very quickly. The couple met at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards and began dating for a short time. A short time later came the marriage proposal and in 2010 a traditional Hindu wedding.
But two years later the divorce came, one of the reasons being different priorities. Katy was also very busy with her Dreams tour at the time, and before one of her performances, she received a text message from Russell telling her he wanted to file for divorce. Katy paid Russell Brand a whopping 22 million in divorce.
