Rosie O’Donnell, American Gigolo – 64 Pounds
Rosie O’Donnell has been struggling with fluctuating weight for most of her career. That didn’t stop her from building an impressive back catalog of films, stage shows, and talk shows, including The View and the eponymous Rosie O’Donnell Show. While her weight hasn’t bothered her, she still made an effort to lose it.
Eventually, having tried various other methods, surviving a heart attack, and finding out her metabolism doesn’t work like it used to, she trumped up some cash to get gastric bypass surgery. This worked a charm, and she dropped 64 pounds since getting the surgery. She is currently filming a 2022 series called American Gigolo.
