Winter (Aespa)
Winter, the charming member of Aespa and Got the Beat, brings a fresh vibe to the K-pop scene. Born Kim Min-jeong, her stage name is a playful nod to her birthday on January 1, right in the heart of winter. Interestingly, her heart warms up to autumn, her favorite season.
SM Entertainment spotted her talent during a dance festival in her hometown, Yangsan City, setting her on the path to stardom. Winter became the first Aespa member unveiled in October 2020, dazzling fans with her lead dancer skills. Beyond her love for dance, Winter’s affection extends to animals, particularly arctic and desert foxes, cats, huskies, and puppies.
