Finally, Someone Listened!
There’s a perfectly good reason why the floor around pools is tiled or paved instead of carpeted. But it’s just the fact that someone listened and made an indoor pool room with carpets around it, just for the warmth and softness under our feet.
There is a health risk to this of course: Wet carpets, when left unattended, can lead to mold build-up, which can cause illness. This is why tiles and paving are used around pools, because they don’t hold moisture, and dry up completely, hence not harboring spores and mold. Maybe this guy has a floor heating system that evaporates moisture, like soccer stadiums in England.
