Kids have an innocence that draws adults to them, and when a child passes a remark to you, it’s usually coming from a place of unfiltered sincerity. On this day, this reporter was covering a story in Istanbul, and to add to the liveliness of the report, he chose to stand near a moving tram.
He couldn’t have anticipated that he’d be touched by a boy onboard the tram. In a fleeting moment, the lad touched the reporter’s chin almost as if to compliment his looks. Still, if the reporter was taken aback by the gesture, his facial expression didn’t give him away.
