Steven Spielberg and Amy Irving – Settlement: $100 Million
The critically acclaimed director, Steven Speilberg, and his actress wife, Amy Irving, got married in 1985. They even had a son together named Max and seemed as happy as they could be. However, only four years into the marriage in 1989, the couple decided to get a divorce.
Allegedly they had scrawled their prenuptial agreement on a napkin before getting married. Unsurprisingly, this signed napkin did not hold sway in the court of law, and Irving was speculated to have gotten around $100 million from the settlement. Both have gone on to marry other people since.
