Steve McManaman – £6.75 Million, Cheshire
Former Liverpool and Real Madrid footballer turned pundit, Steve McManaman, 44, tried to offload his Cheshire estate twice. He first listed the mansion in 2014, asking for £6.9 million, and when it didn’t attract any buyers, he re-listed it in 2016, slashing £150K from the initial asking price.
The mansion is decked out with an indoor swimming pool, secluded garden, and a gym. A separate annex within the grounds features a self-contained apartment with a kitchen and living room space. McManaman commissioned the construction of the house in 2008 when he settled back in the north west after retiring.
