Gary Speed – £1.5 Million, Chester

Two years after listing the Chester address where Gary Speed had taken his life, his wife, Louise Speed, managed to sell the mansion. The family had moved into the house in 2005, and Louise eventually listed it in 2014, asking for £1.5 million.
They had paid £1.3 million for the house, but Louise wasn’t looking to make much of a profit given the circumstances. The construction of the residence was commissioned in 1670, and the couple had remodeled it, making it their dream home. They resided in the abode with their two sons.
