Jeff Bridges & Susan Geston – Together Since 1977 – Improving Communication
The idea of getting married was frightening for “The Big Lebowski” actor Jeff Bridges because he thought it was one step to death. This all changed when he first laid eyes on Susan Geston, then a waitress. They dated for a long while before she gave him the ultimatum to get married, so five days after he popped the question, they tied the knot.
Things didn’t start smoothly, though, but they eventually learned to improve their communication by letting each other finish talking first before making a point. Plus, they remain supportive of each other, even when Bridges went through a health problem in 2020.
