Something Fell Out

Mrs. Wilson was glad to hear him admit that he was wrong. Unable to utter another word, she sat down silently, perhaps contemplating the whole situation or even how her entire day had turned out. However, she didn’t seem to notice her handbag was open as she sat down.
When it opened, a photo fell out of it. It looked old due to its curved edges and the fact that it was black and white, unlike modern pictures. Before she could even notice, Mr. Thompson bent down and picked up the photo for her. He then handed it to her, hoping to start a friendly chat.
