Growing Up At An Old Farm
It turned out that Mrs. Wilson’s full name was Dorothy Wilson. She had been born into a peasant family with her four siblings. Her parents, Kate and John Wilson, ran a small farm where they planted food to eat and sell. This ensured the family rarely lacked their needs, even in challenging financial times.
Mrs. Wilson was the oldest sibling, so she had to take up parental duties when their folks were away visiting friends or working on the farm. One major problem was that Peter, their last born, was mentally challenged and required extra special care, which she had to offer.
