Cat Pose – Marjariasana
“Marjaryasana,” or Cat Pose, is a common yoga posture that promotes flexibility and strength. Begin on all fours, aligning wrists under shoulders and knees under hips. Exhale, rounding the spine towards the ceiling, tucking your chin towards the chest, drawing your navel towards the spine.
You should now resemble a cat on its fours, stretching its back. Inhale to release back to a neutral position. Repeat for several breaths. This pose stretches the back, torso, and neck while gently massaging the stomach and kidneys. It also improves posture and balance, reduces stress, and stimulates the digestive tract, helping to enhance overall well-being.
