A Liberated Prisoner Gets His Revenge On A Former Guard
Karma came for a Nazi guard on April 14, 1945. After being liberated, a former laborer got his revenge by identifying the guard as someone who was particularly cruel to him and his fellow prisoners, who were detained at the Buchenwald concentration camp.
Unfortunately, we don’t exactly know how things turned out for these two parties. It’s worth noting though, that many former Nazi guards were brought to court for aiding in the demise of Jewish people and other minorities targeted during World War II. In 2021, for example, a guard called Josef S was put on trial for his work at the Sachsenhausen concentration camp.
