A Policeman On “Mask Patrol”

The world is no stranger to the coming and going of pandemics. In 1918, for example, the Great Influenza epidemic claimed the lives of millions of people around the globe. That said, Americans took the ordeal seriously, with many opting to protect themselves with facial coverings.
This police officer in San Francisco was among that cautious segment of the population. He even reprimanded a man who came out in public without a mask. According to the History Channel website, many people in Western states complied with the mask-wearing guidelines, but some also deemed the practice uncomfortable.
