A 14th-century Forest Straddles the Border of Poland and Belarus
One of the best-preserved natural forests in Europe lies on the border of Poland and Belarus. The Bialoweieza forest, the only natural site in Poland, was included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. But what makes it unique is that it has remained relatively unchanged since the 14th century.
