Remember These Famous Musicians? Here’s What They’ve Been Up To

Bobby Rush, 87

He has been doing it for decades, but blues master Bobby Rush remains enthusiastic about his passion. It’s hard to believe that he earned his first Grammy Award when he was 83 in 2017 for his album Porcupine Meat. Three years later, the singer has bagged another gramophone for Best Traditional Blues Album with his Rawer Than Raw.

Rush has also recently released his memoir titled I Ain’t Studdin’ Ya, which will detail his life and career, including his writing stories on his 400 songs. The reason for this, he said, was to inspire others who stumbled and felt they couldn’t stand up again.
