In over her six decades in the spotlight, Joan Baez has never failed to use her platform and voice to speak up about and protest social injustices. She turned 80 in January 2021, five months since her Fare Thee Well tour concluded, but fans are yet to forget who she is.
The multilingual legend was also one of the honorees for this year’s Kennedy Center Honors for her undying contributions to the scene. The Diamonds and Rust hitmaker stays true to her status as an artist as she also showcased her solo art show Mischief Makers 2 in February 2021.
