Eva Marie Saint, 96, Born in 1924 – On The Waterfront
Eva Marie Saint has worked with some of the most talented stars, including Alfred Hitchcock in North by Northwest. But before this film, she already etched her name with her performance in the 1954 picture On The Waterfront as Edie Doyle, for which she bagged an Oscar Award.
Legend has it that she was listed as a supporting actor despite her character being a lead to help Saint get an Academy Award, which was successful. In recent years, Saint continued to show her talent, including during the two years she voiced Katara in The Legend of Korra.
