Bob Newhart, 91, Born in 1929 – The Big Bang Theory
The younger generation may recognize Bob Newhart as Arthur Jeffries in the hit show The Big Bang Theory and as Professor Proton in its spinoff, Young Sheldon – his latest works. However, the oldies may know the actor best for his deadpan comedy style in the ‘80s sitcom Newhart.
While other golden age stars find it hard to welcome technological advancements of this era, Newhart has a different take on it. He admitted in a December 2020 interview that he was thrilled that his comedy works are now increasing in streaming TVs like Amazon Prime and iTunes.
