Aretha Franklin began her career as a child gospel singer and rose to prominence as a musician, earning the title “Queen of Soul” in the process. She is the top-ranking vocalist with the most Billboard chart hits of the rock period, with 38 studio albums and over 130 singles under her name.
Her professional achievement occurred while she was parenting four children at the same time. “Respect,” “Think,” and “I Say a Little Prayer” are just a few of her greatest songs that fans continue to sing along to even after Franklin passed away on August 18, 2018, following a long battle with a pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor.
