Lucille Ball, Died At Age 77, 1911-1989

If you were alive a few decades ago, you were probably familiar with the show “I Love Lucy.” Lucille Ball portrayed the title role and was thus the show’s star. She married her co-star, Desi Arnaz, and the two co-founded “Desilu Productions,” a production company.
Following that came a great career and two children. We suppose it’s okay to claim she enjoyed a lovely life, even though her first marriage collapsed, leading to a second one. In 1989, Ball died of a burst abdominal aortic aneurysm. The image on the left, taken at the 61st “Academy Awards,” is thought to be her final one.
