A Cute Little Poker
The youngest members of a bridal party are often the flower girls who are tasked with paving the way for the woman of the hour. The tradition is rooted in ancient Rome when little girls adorned the ground at the ceremony venue with selections of wheat and herbs. Eventually, the tossing of grains was replaced with flower petals.
Much like the betrothed woman, flower girls bask in the spotlight when they make their way down the aisle. The two pictured little helpers are every bit as cute as expected, and not even the picking of the nose detracts from the aww-worthy moment.
