Michael Gambon – Age 80
Speaking of “Harry Potter,” another iconic character from the novels and films is the great Albus Dumbledore, who protected and helped the three main protagonists navigate their lives in Hogwarts. Veteran actor Michael Gambon played the headmaster although this was far from being the first remarkable project he had ever done.
Gambon made a name for himself in the industry after he landed a role in the 1980 movie “Galileo.” Although he excelled in films, he also undoubtedly became a heavyweight in theater, regularly working with the Royal Shakespeare Company. At 80, the actor seemed to be hitting a career stall since he last appeared in 2019’s “Cordelia.”
