Powder Puff, Don’t Rough!
Setting powders and see-through talcs were our cosmetic BFFs when we were spring chickens. But as our skin matures, they often behave more like frenemies. They can emphasize every wrinkle and fine line, dry the skin, and leave a chalky finish. Still, these powders are great for setting the foundation and mopping the excess oil, particularly in the T-zone.
When powdering your nose (or elsewhere), remember these golden rules: opt for a finely milled product, use a big fluffy brush for light application, and steer clear of deep-set wrinkles and lines. This way, you can enjoy the benefits without looking like you’ve had a run-in with a flour sack.
