Forest Whitaker – Football

Forest Whitaker attended California State Polytechnic University as a football scholarship student before becoming an Oscar-winning actor. He was a quarterback in high school, but due to circumstances, he was forced to give it up and pursue acting instead. In the classic comedy “Fast Times at Ridgemont High,” Whitaker played a fierce defensive lineman, combining football with his new career.
Whitaker has appeared in a number of critically praised films, including “Panic Room,” “Ready to Wear,” and many others. He also appeared in a number of successful television episodes and made his directorial debut with “Strapped.” He portrayed C.L. Franklin. In the 2021 film, “Respect.”
