There’s Still Just One Question

Okay so there are a few questions about this place, but two in particular rise to the fore: What is that pyramid thing in the middle and why is the front door suspended in mid-air? How are people supposed to get to it? Maybe our eyes are deceiving us, but there is a lot not making sense here.
Maybe this is just an optical illusion because the pyramid thingy is cleaner than the rest of the bricks. Maybe it’s not a pyramid thingy at all, but a stairway that leads to a porch that leads to the door you need to step up to walk through. Maybe we’re just overthinking this.
