It May Not Be One, But We’ll Make It Look That Way

Don’t look at this picture and frown because before plasma, LCD, and LED allowed TVs to be flat; this is how people would create a flat-screen look. Of course, this person can still be accused of being a little cheapskate; in this day and age, there is no reason to own an old tube TV.
Unless, of course, you’re into retro gaming, which it turns out has found a new use for the old cathode ray tube TV. It boils down to picture quality, which just comes together better on the CRT when you’re using old Nintendo 64, SNES, and even the Sega Megadrive.
